'Truck Grouping Operator Truck Description'

A1

Pedestrian

Low Lift Platform & Low Lift Order Picking Truck.

This truck is a standard walk with pallet truck sometimes referred to as a PPM (Pedestrian Pallet Mover) or ( LLOP) Low Level Order Picker)

A2

 

Ride On

Low Lift Platform & Low Lift Order Picking Truck.

This truck is the same as above but has a flip up/down or fixed platform for operators to travel on the truck as it moves sometimes referred to as a PPM (Pedestrian Pallet Mover) or ( LLOP) Low Level Order Picker)

A5

 Pedestrian

Pallet Stackers

Pallet Stackers perform similar to a fork lift but with much lighter loads and don't go as high, they sometimes have straddle legs for extra stability.

B1

Ride On

Counter Balanced Fork lift Trucks up to and including 5 tonne capacity.

Sometimes referred to as an FLT, this is a standard Counter Balanced Truck.

B2

Ride On

Counter Balanced Fork lift Trucks over 5 tonne and up to and including 15 tonne capacity.

Sometimes referred to as an FLT, this is a larger Counter Balanced Truck.

D1

Ride On

Reach and Straddle trucks

Used mainly in racking environments and as the name of it suggests, reach quite high for storing product and have a mast that extends forward.

Ride On

Pallet Stackers

Very similar to a reach truck but usually without an extending mast. Also used for high stacking of product.

Ride On

High Level Order Picker

Used for picking product from height, usually operator goes up with the cab and can see at eye level what he/she is picking.

Vertical/Very Narrow Aisle Lateral & front stacking Trucks-Man up.

Older versions run between steel rails to guide the truck, Newer versions are guide by wire imbedded in the ground.

Ride On

Tow Tractor and Trailer

Sometimes used for unloading lorries via hitching up a Tug/Tractor to a trailers interlocked on lorry.

Total Truck Training can also instruct and train on L.P.G. (Liquid Petroleum Gas) re-fueling, whether this is Fork Lift Truck cylinders or Bulk storage tanks.
